On June 12 and 13, the city of Pontevedra will host the International Seminar “Equality and Non-Discrimination as a Reference Vector in the Construction of the European Union,” a relevant academic event that will be held at Casa das Campás (Rúa Don Filiberto, 9, 36002, Pontevedra).
The seminar is part of the Jean Monnet project “The Central Role of the European Union’s Social Rights in Employment in the Twenty-First Century (RIGHTSEU)” and will bring together national and international legal specialists, researchers, and professionals to reflect on the role of social rights in employment and their influence on European cohesion.
Over the two days, regulatory advances, current challenges, and good practices in equality and non-discrimination within the European Union will be addressed. Roundtables and discussion forums will promote the exchange of ideas and experiences regarding European social policies.
The seminar can be attended in person or virtually, as the event will be streamed for easy access from anywhere.
