Alexandre Pazos Pérez is an Associate Professor of Labour and Social Security Law at the University of Vigo and a member of the Research Group on Labour and Social Security Law (DMT). He has actively participated in regional and national research projects, contributing extensively to academia with 20 articles in specialized journals, 24 book chapters, and three monographs.

With a background in labour law practice, he also has extensive teaching experience in undergraduate and master’s programs. He has conducted research stays at the University of Siena and the University of Leuven. In addition to his academic career, he has held administrative roles, serving as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Legal and Labour Sciences and Coordinator of the Master’s in Labour Management and Administration. Since 2022, he has been serving as a Substitute Judge at the High Court of Justice of Galicia.
