María José Romero Ródenas is a Professor of Labor Law and Social Work at the University of Castilla-La Mancha and holds a PhD in Law from the same institution. Her academic and research career has focused on trade union law, labor regulation, and occupational risk prevention.

She has combined her teaching and research work with legal practice, serving as a Substitute and Reinforcement Judge at the Social Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Castilla-La Mancha for over 19 years. Additionally, she has supervised doctoral theses in the field of labor and social law.
