Catarina Oliveira Carvalho is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Coordinator of the Master’s in Labour and Employment Law. She holds a PhD in Labour Law and a Master’s in Legal and Business Sciences from the University of Coimbra.

She is a researcher at the Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law and has lectured at several European universities, supervising Master’s and PhD theses. Her academic work focuses on European labour law, comparative law, and workers’ mobility within the EU.

She has served as Vice President of the General Assembly of the Portuguese Football League and as an arbitrator at the Economic and Social Council. Additionally, she is a member of editorial boards of specialized law journals and has coordinated international conferences on labour law.
