María Belén Sánchez Ramos is an Associate Professor of Public International Law at the University of Vigo. She holds a PhD in Law from the University of A Coruña, and her academic and research career focuses on the EU’s external action, Diplomatic Law, and Maritime Law.

She has taught in various undergraduate and postgraduate programs across the university’s campuses in Ourense, Vigo, and Pontevedra. Her scientific production includes studies on maritime piracy, the institutionalization of international maritime relations, the Arctic region, and international mediation. Additionally, she has supervised doctoral theses and actively participated in numerous national and international conferences.
