Jaime Cabeza Pereiro is a Professor of Labour and Social Security Law at the University of Vigo. Holding a PhD in Law from the University of Santiago de Compostela, he has an extensive academic and research career specializing in labour law, social protection, and employment policies within the European framework.

He has led numerous national and international research projects on work-life balance, self-employment, digitalization of work, and new forms of work organization. His active participation in research networks and programs such as Jean Monnet and Erasmus+ has contributed to advancing studies on the evolution of labour law in the European Union and its impact on the labour market.
